## Abstract Gas hydrates of nitrogen and oxygen are described. __P__ β __t__ relations of the threeβphase equilibria in the system nitrogen β water are given from β 4 to 18Β°C at pressures up to 1000atm. The dissociation pressure of oxygen hydrate is given at 0Β°C.

and hydrates (clathrates) from a polar ice core (Vostok) were analysed by high-sensitivity Raman micro-N 2 O 2 spectrometry. Three new lines in the region of the stretching modes of and guest molecules were observed N 2 O 2 and were interpreted by considering both small (512) and large (51264) cages
