✦ Synopsis

The g-ray emission probability of 149 Eu was determined from the measurements of disintegration rates and g-ray spectra of sources using a 4pb-g coincidence apparatus with a live-timed two-dimensional data-acquisition system. The determined emission probabilities of the 277.1 and 327.5 keV g-rays were 0.041370.0003 and 0.047570.0003, respectively. These results meant that the evaluated values were underestimated by about 15%. Finally, new values of the decay parameters were deduced from them.

The emission probabilities for the y-rays of "'Yb were accurately measured by a 4njl @PC)-y (HPGe) coincidence apparatus using a live-timed bi-dimensional data acquisition system. The emission probability of the main 396 keV y-rays was 0.1315 & 0.0016, a value that was about twice the evaluated valu
