The review papers cover many aspect,s of t'he prohlem ranging from physic~tl and chemical environment (mixing processes, buoyancy regulation, temperature and light, rnacroi ~n d micronutrients), biological processes (photosynthesis, respiration, nitrogen fixation, st,oriqp pool dynamics etc.) and biotic interaction of blue-green algae with zooplankton. They itre substnnti:~lly supported by the short reports of t,he field work. The Proceedings of this Forum of Bluc-green Algae Dominance may be rccomniended as an helpful basis for understanding lininologicid and water management problems of entrophic lakes around the world and it usrful tool for n,pproaching the recent advances in this field.
