✦ Synopsis

A problem of defuzziÿcation of a fuzzy test for testing statistical hypotheses with vague data is considered. Two defuzziÿcation operators are discussed. It is shown that the superposition of a fuzzy test and these operators leads to decision strategies equivalent to the classical crisp tests. Moreover, another source of randomization in hypothesis testing is indicated, and a new ground for the randomized tests application is given. Advice to practitioners -how to defuzzifyis also given.

This paper discusaes the application of randomization testa to censored survival distributions. The three types of censoring considered are those designated by MILLER (1981) as Type 1 (fixed time termination), Type 2 (termination of experiment at r-th failure), and random censoring. In this paper we discuss the properties of fuzzy random variables and fuzzy conditional expectation. Some extended results of dominated convergence theorems for fuzzy random variables are proved. We define the concept of a right-closed fuzzy martingale and give the necessary and sufficient condition
