β¦ Synopsis
L.A. Zadeh first suggested a method of fuzzy reasoning called compositional rule of inference (CR1 for short). Instead of sup-min composition we use a more general composition called sup-T composition in CRI. According to the criteria GMP and GMT, the fuzzy implication R must satisfy the sup-T composite fuzzy relational equations: Q@R = S and s@R-' = &. In this paper, we discuss the solution of these equations and point out that sup-a composition and the implication R,, used to CRI will be more suitable under criteria GMP and GMT.

The paper deals with implementation of a general scheme for fuzzy logic inference with the aid of fuzzy relational equations. It is shown that antecedents and consequents are related in terms of a fuzzy relation. Various implementation methods of generalized modus ponens and modus tollens are put in
The paper discusses fuzzy controllers based on fuzzy relational equations in the case when fuzzy controllers' inputs are exact. Godelian implication and minimum function as t-norm are considered. Fuzzy relational equation with sup-t composition results in plausible control and adjoint equation resul
