β¦ Synopsis
We characterize chain rings in terms of certain fuzzy ideals and by using the concept of minimial generating set. We also employ the concept of fuzzy direct sum to characterize Artinian principal ideal rings and to find the necessary and sufficient fuzzy conditions under which an Artinian ring is a direct sum of fields.

In this paper, we extend the conventional fuzzy numbers and introduce a new fuzzy number system named vector space of ordered pairs (VSOP). Then, we axiomatically define the fuzzy comparison relations (>-, ' L-\_ and \_~) on VSOP starting from the requirements of fuzzy ordering and vector ordering.
