The results of a 1985 empirical study concerning student computer preparation and perceptions prior to and after completing an introductory college level computers in business course are presented. Student expectations and plans are reported. The effects of course instruction on selected perceptions are explained. Research results provide the basis to suggest modifications to future business introductory computer courses.

## Abstract This article describes a broad‐spectrum, computer‐aided self‐help clinic that raised the throughput of anxious/depressed patients per clinician and lowered per‐patient time with a clinician without impairing effectiveness. Many sufferers improved by using one of four computer‐aided syst
