Eleven genera of fungi were isolated from overwintered queens of six species of Bombinae, as well as Penicillium from their nests. Hirsutella and Metarrhizium are suggested for the first time to be pathogens of Bombus This survey of fungi was part of a more general study of the natural enemies and associates of these bees in Ontario (3).
