✦ Synopsis
Abstract
The aim is to study basic characteristics of a frequency selective surface (FSS) for two frequencies and its application to the wave absorbers using the FSS for two frequencies, which are fabricated by two absorption films. In this study, the shielding characteristics with the frequency‐selection by FSS, absorption, and shielding characteristics of the proposed wave absorber using FSS are examined experimentally. Good performance of the FSS and the wave absorber using FSS were obtained, as expected. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
