✦ Synopsis

An integrated method for predicting and reconstructing chaotic kinetics is proposed. The analysis is based on a functional reconstruction method recently developed. It is shown that the application of functional reconstruction together with a preprocessing of the time series by means of chaotic data analysis methods timishes an efficient on-line nonlinear predictor.
