✦ Synopsis
A core-shell microsphere sample prepared by dispersion polymerization using a polyacid as the steric stabilizer was studied for its endopectinlyase and endopolygalacturonase adsorption behavior. The endopectinlyase adsorption yield decreases with increasing the medium pH, whereas the opposite behavior is observed for the endopolygalacturonase adsorption yield. This opposite adsorption tendency is correlated to the microsphere surface nature which was proved to be hydrophilic or hydrophobic according to the medium pH.
