✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A bolus injection of Gadopentetate Dimeglumine with dynamic gradient echo MR imaging has allowed for the visualization of normal and abnormal renal function. Following an injection of gadopentetate dimeglumine, NMR T1 relaxation times obtained on serial collections of serum and urine at timed intervals were used to derive the glomerular filtration rate. The merger of dynamic contrast‐enhanced MRI with an in vitro NMR‐derived GFR provides for assessment of renal function without the use of radioactive agents. © 1991 Academic Press, Inc.

## Abstract Renal apparent diffusion coefficients (ADCs) were anisotropic within and significantly different between cortex and medulla using a relatively motion‐insensitive one‐dimensional technique in 20 volunteers. ADC values ranged from 1.79 ±.39 to 2.95 ±.58(× 10^‐3^mm^2^/sec), relatively high
## Abstract Recent developments in MR techniques have magnified the roles and potential of MRI in the female pelvis. This article reviews the techniques and clinical applications of functional MRI (fMRI) of the female pelvis, including cine MRI, diffusion‐weighted MRI (DWI), and dynamic contrast‐en
## Abstract Animal studies have demonstrated that renal MR contrast enhancement depends on the timing of image acquisition. Limited human studies have demonstrated effects of dipyidamole (DP) on total renal perfusion. This study assessed the effect of DP on total and regional renal perfusion using
Comparatively reduced blood flow to frontal brain regions in patients with schizophrenia (hypofrontality) has been frequently observed in the last 25 years. However, there is an inconstant quality to hypofrontality, suggesting either confounded observation of a static (trait-like) abnormality, or th
