## Abstract The transmission characteristic of the microstrip with complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) is researched. Compared with the conventional structure, this filter can achieve a wider bandgap by shifting the gap of CSRR from the side of the microstrip to the underside. And then, a low

โฆ Synopsis
Basic units for realization of all-pole and all-zero transfer functions in all-optical systems using the ring resonators and the electromagnetic induced transparency (EIT) are introduced. Using our proposed basic blocks for generation of pole and zero, we can implement any type and any degree of optical filters and optical processing systems. In this work, z-transform is used for design and synthesize of LP, BP, and HP Butterworth optical filters as an example. The stability of optical systems designed by our proposed structures is investigated. Also, EIT is used for the control of pole and zero position.
