β¦ Synopsis
The Ba3MgSi2O8:Eu2+, Mn2+ phosphors show three emission colors: blue band of 440nm, green band of 505nm and red band of 620nm. The emission colors are tuned through concentration variation of luminescent centers in Ba3MgSi2O8:mEu2+, nMn2+ phosphors. The white light color tuning is originated from the energy transfer among luminescent centers. The energy transfer is confirmed through the shortening lifetime of energy donor. Our full-color-emitting and color-tunable phosphors can be used in the application of white-light-emitting diode by the UV LED/phosphor technology.
