Educational gerontology as a recognizable field has been in existence for at least twenty-five years. This chapter focuses on the history of the field from the early work of Howard McClusky through the developing body of literature and research.

Otherwise, publication was not ventured. May I not hope that after its twenty-five years of slumber, this fragment, seemingly yet pertinent, may not prove a cumberer to pharmaceutical literature?
