Continued quality under new incentives
Recently, some congressional leaders and reporters have highlighted specific instances of Medicare beneficiaries who they believe have received inadequate medical care because of Medicare prospective pricing incentives. These incentives have led to shorter stays and increased reliance on outpatient care.
