## Abstract The aim of this work was to study the involvement of the phosphoinositide‐3‐kinase (PI3K)/Akt pathway in synaptic endings incubated under oxidative stress conditions. Synaptosomes purified from rat cerebral cortex were exposed to FeSO~4~ (50 ΞΌM) for different periods of time. 3‐(4,5‐Dim
