The cacity-model rolutwn of the input impedance of a slot-coupled cylindrical-circular microstrip patch antenna is presented. The theoretical results are compared with measurements, and the accuracy of the cavity-model analysis is discussed. Effects of the cylinder size and the coupling slot length

โฆ Synopsis
sity from 0.35 Wb/m2 to 0.4 Wb/m2, which is shown in Figure 3. The variation of resonant frequency with angle of inclination for different values of dc magnetic field is shown in Figure 4. The angle of inclination is varied from 0 to 30ยฐ, with dc magnetic field poHo of 0.35 to 0.4 Wb/m2. Thus, from these results it is inferred that the tuning can be achieved by varying the inclination angle of the magnetic field or by varying the magnetic field intensity for a fixed angle of inclination
IV. CONCLUSION
A tunable filter with a microstrip ring resonator configuration on YIG-GGG substrate has been proposed, and the results are obtained by deriving its equivalent network model. Sharp notch characteristics of more than 40 dB have been observed at X band, and the results may be useful for magnetostatic wave application to filters at microwave frequencies.
