โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

This article presents the investigation of frequency and temporal coherence properties of distributed Bragg reflector laser. In this scheme, a squareโ€waveform voltage is applied to the phase section of the laser to tune optical wavelength, and delayed optical heterodyne technique is used for the analysis of spectral characteristics. Experiments show that lightwaves emitted from the same active region asynchronously are partially frequency and temporal coherent. When the two wavelengths are closer, the two waves are strongly coherent, and the coherence properties get weak as the delay time increases. ยฉ 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this paper, we analyzed the frequency splitting phenomena when distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) fiber laser was influenced by lateral pressure. We gave the relationship of the frequency interval and the lateral pressure. This frequency splitting phenomena is based on Intracavity bir

## Abstract In this article, we reported a polarization orthogonal singleโ€longitudinalโ€mode distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) fiber laser. The laser operated robustly in single longitudinal mode and dual polarizations with frequency difference of 976.93 MHz. This laser has simple structure as well
