β¦ Synopsis
How far is too far in a quest to protect ones family and loved ones?
Melanie Lindberg has overcome many obstacles to create her ideal life. After surviving a horrific kidnapping by a psychotic serial killer she is able to re-establish her special bonds to both her lovers, Matt and Nicole; and create a rather unique family arrangement. Of course she has to keep her lifestyle a secret as she has also just been elected to public office.
All of this is interrupted when, in the course of her legislative duties, she is approached by a young Russian woman seeking her assistance in finding her missing sister. Little does Melanie realize the events she will set in motion will jeopardize all those she loves; with nobody she can turn to for protection. Melanie must then face her only alternative...one which means entering a world far removed from her middle-class existence; a world few could imagine exists...one dominated by people who trade in young women...where life is cheap and expendable.
Melanie however has one advantage, her darkest secret and her greatest strength, one that preserved her life in the past and which she will have to call upon to prevail in her quest...Melanie is a serial killer.
