✦ Synopsis


The acidity constants of thew-aminocarboxylic acids with n = 1,2, 3. 4, 5 and the stability constants of the Ag(1) complexes of the corresponding aminocarboxylates were determined at O", 15" and 40°C in 0.5 M K N 0 3 . From thisand the samedata at 25", reported previously, the free energy, enthalpy and entropy changes involved in complex formation were calculated using the temperature coefficient method. The same thermodynamic functions were also obtained from calorimetric data.
