Nada más aterrizar su avión, se ve envuelto en la muerte del crítico literario más famoso de Alemania, precisamente en plena Feria del Libro de Frankfurt. Ladrón, impostor y hombre violento, la vida de Willen parece cambiar cuando conoce en el avión a la prostituta Lou, pero realmente será el expolicía Carl Feuerbach quien se encargue de frenar la espiral de violencia en la que vive Willen. «Frankfurt blues» es una suculenta historia de gángsters con un alto grado de diversión y un increíble potencial adictivo.
