✦ Synopsis

Roland starts to realise he hasn't been told everything that he needs to know. It is the army after all. There came a point where letting your troops know who they were actually fighting should be need to know for everyone. At least in Roland's mind.

Join Roland and the rest of 3rd squad as they try to fight their way out of the glitches the rebels have been causing. Glitches that will change the game forever. As they try to find out more about the modified game system that the army are using they encounter the intelligence division who have answers for their questions.

They get answers. Those answers lead to more questions. Questions they won't have answered without breaking some rules and fighting their own intelligence division.

Fractured Desert is a LitFPS story with LitRPG elements. It is the second book in a series that follows Roland as he tries to fit in with the army. That army has decided to use a modified full immersion virtual reality game to fight its wars. To complete his contract he needs to fight through whatever war they decide.
