The elastic modulus of a nuclear graphite was measured in the range from room temperature to 1400Β°C by the ultrasonic pulse echo method. Little or no change in the elastic modulus was observed up to 450Β°C. Above XWC, however, it increased almost linearly with increasing temperature. The fractional i
