โฆ Synopsis
We present a derivation of a simple new formula for Fourier transforms of products of Cartesian Gaussian functions. Such products are often used to expand property densities, and Fourier integrals of these products may be used to investigate scattering processes from these property densities. The method makes use of the McMurchie-Davidson expansion of the Gaussian products in terms of Hermite functions.
