✦ Synopsis

Fourier transform spectra were recorded for carbon disulfide in the region between 2800 and 3000 cm K1 . A total of 20 bands for the carbon disulfide isotopologue 12 C 32 S 2 , 2 for 12 C 32 S 33 S, 8 for 12 C 32 S 34 S, 1 for 12 C 34 S 2 and 5 for 13 C 32 S 2 have been investigated. Two bands 13 1 1-01 1 0 of 12 C 32 S 2 and 12 0 1-00 0 0 of 12 C 32 S 34 S present local perturbations.

Vibrational frequencies and rotational constants have been determined for the bands.

The effective operator approach is applied to the calculation of the spectra of 16 O 12 C 17 O and 16 O 12 C 18 O in the mid infrared. Using the eigenfunctions of the effective Hamiltonians previously derived for each of these species, parameters of the corresponding effective dipole moment operator
