The lowest fundamental band \(\nu_{13}\) of triacetylene \(\left(\mathrm{HC}_{6} \mathrm{H}\right)\) was measured in high resolution using a Fourier transform IR spectrometer in the range from 27 to \(227 \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}\). The resolution achieved was about \(0.0018 \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}\). The rotati
