Cellulose is the main constituent of such plant fibres as flax, ramie, cotton, and wood. The structural parameters of cellulose, like lattice type, crystallinity, crystallite size, and degree of polymerization, contribute significantly to the physical properties of the fibre. The crystallinity of ce
