โœฆ Synopsis


A calculation of the singular contribution to the four-density correlation function of a fluid near its critical point is reported. The calculation is based on the formalism of Forster and Martin. Explicit results are obtained by using static scaling to estimate scattering vertices and by using mods-mode coupling ideas and hydrodynamics to estimate propagation functions. The results are briefly applied to light scattering. The relation between this work and that of Korenman is also discussed. E(t) cc 6n(r', t'), Cl*21
