β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
Four new dibenzocycloocteneβtype lignans, named renchangianins AβD (1β4), were isolated from the stems of Kadsura renchangiana. Their structures and configurations were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including 2DβNMR techniques. Renchangianin D (4) possesses a spiro[dibenzocycloocteneβ6,2β²βoxirane] parent structure previously unknown in plants of the Schisandraceae family.
