Two four-element linear aperture-coupled cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna arrays ha¨e been theoretically modeled and experimentally implemented. The arrays produced broadside radiation shaping the E-and H-plane, respecti¨ely. The resonant frequency, return loss, radiation pattern, gain, unlo

✦ Synopsis
In this work, a C-band passi¨e microstrip four-element ( ) antenna-array beam-forming network BFN using high-directi¨ity directional couplers is described. In the transmit mode, an input signal is split into four equiphase equiamplitude parts so as to correctly feed the elements of a linearr2-D array. The amplitude difference among the four feeds is within 0.5 dB, and the phases of the signals at the feeds differ by less than 10Њ in a 4:1 bandwidth.
