β¦ Synopsis
To study how halo structure affects on "He + "C elastic scattering at 38.3 MeV/nucleon. we propose the four-body continuum-discretized coupled-channels (CDCC) method. In this method, three-body wave functions of 'He nucleus are obtained by Gaussian expansion method (GEM). In this analysis, 'He halo effects are investigated by comparing 'He + lZC scattering with "Li +lZC scattering.
π SIMILAR VOLUMES
The 6 He + 12 C elastic and inelastic scattering and the 6 He + 12 C β Ξ± + 14 C reaction have been measured using a 18.0 MeV 6 He beam. Experimental results for the elastic scattering are in fair agreement with optical model predictions, using the potentials found in the analysis of 6 Li scattering
