In today's clinical environment, time is a precious element. Particularly precious is the time to scan the literature and read articles of interest. To assist our readership in keeping current on recently published studies of relevance to clinical cytometry, the Editorial Board has developed a new section, the Journal Club, to appear in each issue of Communications in Clinical Cytometry. The Journal Club will attempt to identify articles of potential interest to our readers and provide a short description of the contents of these articles. Please note that we are not endorsing methods, products, or results-we are merely suggesting that these manuscripts may be worth reading. To assist in our efforts, we welcome contributions or suggestions of recent publications to include in this section (don't hesitate to suggest your own articles!).
