✦ Synopsis

It is shown that the hole state centred in the middle of the well can become unstable during magnetic polaron formation resulting in a polaron state connected with an interface. The criterion of formation of interface-trapped polarous in a cyuntum well with semimagnetic barriers is found. We have shown that in the case of the experimentally observed two-dimensional exciton magnetic polaron, interlace trapping is prevented mainly due to the electron-hole Coulomb attraction. The effect of an external magnetic field on the stability criterion is also considered.

We present optical pumpΒ±probe experiments carried out in Cd 1Β± Β±x Mn x Te/ZnTe multiple quantum wells to study the dynamics of excitons, exchange-coupled to Mn spins in the form of magnetic polarons. From the analysis of the transient absorption spectra, we found that the magnetic polaron formation
