✦ Synopsis
Highly c-axes oriented 2212-phase films have been synthesized from the BiO1.5-CuO-(SrO,CaO) multilayers and uniform magnetron sputtered amorphous Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O precursors using postannealing in air at (700 + 850)°C. In situ high temperature XRD studies have been carried out to elucidate mechanisms and kinetics of the two-layer phase formation. High crystalline quality of the 2212-phase films formed from the multilayers we associate with accelarated two-layer phase growth in presence of fugitive liquid and intermediate Bi and Sr oxyde based solid solution [ 1 i.
