✦ Synopsis

studies of adiabatic espansions of Hz-0:~ and Hz-Oz-NZ gas mixtures have revealed the formation of the species Hz.02 at concentrations of the order o?' 10 +-lo4 mole fraction. This species is believed to be a relatively weakly bound isomer which is less stabIe than t1202, the cOrnman form of hydrogen peroxide. A mechanism which is more consistent with the data is: Hz + H2 f 02 + Hz.02 + Hz,

Between 1 MHz and 55 GHz the complex dielectric spectrum has been measured at 25Β°C for D,O and for HsO/DsO mixtures with mole fraction x=0.25, 0.5 and 0.75 of DzO. A Debye-type relaxation spectral function has been fitted to the frequencydependent data to yield the static permittivity, the extrapola

## Abstract The formation of an α‐Fe layer between cementite and graphite was observed and investigated during metal dusting of iron in CO‐H~2~‐H~2~O gas mixtures at both 600Β°C and 700Β°C. The condition to form this phenomenon is determined by the gas composition which depends on temperature. The ir

The sulfidation of Fe-20%Cr-30%Mn, Fe-25%Cr-20%Mn and Fe-25%Cr was studied at 700 "C in H2-H2S and the oxidation and sulfidation in H2-H,0-H,S after preoxidation in H,-H,O. The sulfidation rate is strongly increased for the Mn-containing alloys, layers of (Mn,Cr)S and (Mn,Fe)Cr2S4 are formed. Also
