✦ Synopsis

In a number of points throughout the article the authors refer to the lag curve of paired associate learning when the retention interval is of moderate size as concave, while more precisely this curve is concave and increasing up to a point and decreasing after that point. This does not affect the substance of the article, and the arguments underlying the proofs, etc., do not need to be revised. However, the authors thought that it was necessary to state things precisely because otherwise the phenomenon is misrepresented and some statements are not formally correct.
