✦ Synopsis
Aluminium cladded steel sheets are not resistant to ageing. Therefore, it should be expected that both the mechanical properties and the press performance or ductility of them will be depending on time after skin-pass rolling.
Results of investigations over a range of 100 days between skin-pass rolling and testing are delivering on the one hand a significant change of the material properties. But, on the other hand a nearly constant press performance is observed over the same range.
