Abstract
This article reports the relevant highlights of our experience with companies that adopt a forced distribution (FD) system. We describe why they choose it, what impact it has on their organization, and how we help them decide if FD is a good match for their culture. We have included a cultural checklist that we designed with one of our clients to assist in the decision to use an FD system.
