β¦ Synopsis
I was only seventeen when I was thrown into the turbulent sea of Iranian ββpolitical and social upheaval of the 80s. Unlike many of my friends, I survived living through the revolution, a semi-civil war and an eight-year war with our neighbour country. Although I have managed to have a normal life in a nice corner of the world, the wounds of those years were never healed. In all these years, the innocent eyes of young adults and children who were severely punished by the Islamic regime have been asking me to tell their story to the world. Sometimes I think that I survived that deadly hell to tell the heartbreaking story of my innocent friends.
This is the story of young people and children who got caught up in a game that had no rules in one of the darkest periods in my country.
This story is a lament for humanity and a testimony to the future of the dark ages that have passed us by.
The places, characters, and events in this story are based on reality, although the names have been changed and sometimes the characters, events, and locations have been merged or separated.
