A method is proposed by extending the linear traveling wave transformation into the nonlinear transformation with the (G 0 /G)-expansion method. The non-traveling wave solutions with variable separation can be constructed for the (2 + 1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup equations with variable coefficients vi

✦ Synopsis
Starting from the standard truncated Painlev e e expansion, a B€ a acklund transformation for the (2 + 1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation is derived. Making use of the variable separation approach, a variable separation solution of this model is obtained. By selecting appropriate multi-valued functions, a new class of localized coherent structures for the model are found. These structures exhibit interesting novel features not found in one-dimensions.

In this paper, the (N + 1)-dimensional sine-cosine-Gordon equations are studied. The existence of solitary wave, kink and anti-kink wave, and periodic wave solutions are proved, by using the method of bifurcation theory of dynamical systems. In this paper, the topological 1-soliton solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger's equation in 1 + 2 dimensions is obtained by the solitary wave ansatze method. These topological solitons are studied in the context of dark optical solitons. The type of nonlinearity that is considered is Kerr type.
