## Abstract Frequency‐dependent conduction block (FDB) has been demonstrated in subjects with carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) when the median nerve was stimulated at 30‐HZ frequency proximal to the carpal tunnel (CT). However, it was still questionable whether FDB occurred within the region of the CT

✦ Synopsis
Abstract
We report a case of tarsal tunnel syndrome (TTS) with focal conduction block across the tarsal tunnel (TT). A 46‐year‐old woman had pain in the left foot, sensory loss on the plantar surface, and positive Tinel sign over the TT. TTS was confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan and surgery. Motor nerve conduction studies showed focal conduction block across the TT. Conduction block has rarely been reported in TTS. In this case, conduction block provides evidence for focal demyelination as the primary pathological process in TTS. Muscle Nerve, 2010

## Abstract This evidence‐based review was performed to evaluate the utility of nerve conduction studies (NCSs) and needle electromyography (EMG) in the diagnosis of tibial neuropathy at the ankle (tarsal tunnel syndrome, TTS). A total of 317 articles on TTS were identified that were published in E
## Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a syndrome whose diagnosis is well established. One cause could be occupational factors, while others have no relation to work or the work environment. We present in this article a case report regarding a worker affected by CTS, which is of interest concerning th
## Abstract ## Purpose. To compare the diagnostic value of high‐resolution ultrasound (US) with nerve conduction studies (NCS) in patients with clinically defined carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). ## Methods. A prospective study was conducted on 66 consecutive patients investigated for sensory hand
