โฆ Synopsis
Critical current density J c and pinning force density F p have been investigated for the superconductor/superconductor multilayers NbTi/Nb and superconductor/normal metal multilayer NbTi/Ti under parallel and perpendicular magnetic fields. The layered structure itself has been confirmed to play as an effective flux pinning centre enhancing F pโฅ under parallel magnetic fields.

The flux pinning mechanism in NbTi alloy including artificial pinning centres is studied by a NbTi/Nb/Cu multilayer composite. The โฃ-Ti phase in NbTi alloy is the dominant flux pinning site when a period of superconducting plus normal layer thickness is higher than 1000 nm, while the artificial pinn
