โฆ Synopsis
Experimental evidence is presented showing that at millikelvin temperatures flux creep in the organic superconductor (BEDT-TrF)2 Cu(NCS)2 and in the high-Te superconductor Y1Ba2Cu408 involves mainly quantum tunneling of vortices. The measured tunneling rates at T ~ 0 are in very good agreement with values given by the quantum collective creep theory.
