Rogers Corporation's High Performance Elastomers
Division has received the Supplier of the Year Award from Higbee Gaskets & Sealing Products. Higbee is a specialized fabricator of high performance gaskets, seals, and cushions for the electrical and electronic refrigeration, automotive aftermarket, lighting, and pump and valve markets.
Higbee uses Rogers' Poron elastomers, which are urethane and silicone foam materials, to make high performance gaskets, environmental seals, and other components which absorb shock, isolate vibrations, or provide cushioning. The company specializes in fabricating multi-million piece orders with quick turnaround, and relies on its vendors to support this level of customer service. Rogers won the award for providing quality elastomeric foams with short lead times.
