✦ Synopsis

The superconductivity in various high quality polycrystalline YBa2Cu@-6 samples with very sharp transitions have been studied. Two different fitting procedures to the normal-state resistivity at high temperatures have been used to calculate the background resistivity. The Anderson-Zou fit to the data is found to work as well in pellets as in single crystals. The excess conductivity plots show the high-temperature, mean-field, crossover and critical dynamics regions as the temperature approaches
