Simulations of diffusion-limited reactions over surfaces of Witten-Sander diffusion-limited aggregates (DLA) were performed using a Monte Carlo random walk algorithm. Multifractal analyses were then carried out on the reaction probability distribution to investigate the effect of fractal environment

β¦ Synopsis
We study the structure and growth of a di usion-limited aggregate (DLA) for which the constitutive units remain mobile during the aggregation process. Contrary to DLA where far from equilibrium conditions are the prevalent factor for growth, the structure of the aggregate is here determined by a combination of annealed and quenched processes. The internal exibility allows the aggregate to span the equilibrium conΓΏgurational space, and such thermally driven motion further modiΓΏes the connectivity statistics of the growing branched structure.

A central difficulty in many problems involving statistical dynamics of surfaces or lines is the preservation in model equations of the correct topological integrity. This paper continues a series by the authors which study this problem, and contains equations for the evolution of surfaces by the de
