✦ Synopsis
Summer 1936. 15-year-old Reni is chosen to present Chancellor Hitler with a bouquet of flowers at the opening of the Summer Olympics. Reni is overwhelmed - she adores Hitler fervently. The Fiihrer seems to her to be the epitome of everything good and just, and now she - the orphan - is to come face to face with him. But Reni is not an orphan at all, but the daughter of a count. Her father is one of the most influential circles of the rising Nazi regime and is determined to use his beautiful blonde and blue-eyed daughter to advantage in the future. Reni can hardly believe her luck - until her father strictly forbids her to deal with the so-called "subjects". He means, for example, Jockel, the boy Reni fell in love with. Reni desperately tries to deny that suddenly nothing in her world is as hopeful as it seemed.
