Experimental study was conducted on flow patterns of flow boiling heat transfer to a highly viscous pseudoplastic fluid in a vertical glass tube adhered with a transparent conducting film A new type of flow pattern of flow boiling was found and observed, and a correlation for predicting flow patterns is developed based on 535 sets of experimental data.
