✦ Synopsis


Flow-injection analysis (FIA) system incorporating in-valve solid-phase extraction microcolumn for on-line separation and preconcentration using a new resin, U/TEVA.Spec, has been proposed for the spectrophotometric determination of uranium in geological samples using 4-(2-pyridylazo) resorcinol (PAR) as a color agent. Optimization of the condition involved in the system was investigated. Possibility of a single standard calibration is discussed.
